The Persian General was an Achaemenid general from probably modern-day Ukraine in 300 who appeared in the fist battle. When the Persians lined up in war formation, the General came from the crowd, screaming at the Spartans to lay down their weapons but that was the last word of him as he was impaled with a flying spear embedded deep into his breastbone, killing him and he fell out of his saddle, dead.
